Process Engineered Products

Please join us in welcoming Philip E. Williams to the ranks of Outside Sales for Process Engineered Products. Philip has 30+ years of Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas control experience. His assignment is Wyoming's Upstream and Midstream oil and gas markets. Philip joined Process Engineered Products effective February 9, 2015 and has since attended numerous Manufacturer's Training Schools to become proficient on product capabilities as they relate to Philip's vast application knowledge.

His past roles of Roustabout, Technician, Engineer, and Software Developer provide unique skills to identify optimization opportunities and to implement cost effective solutions.

In 2007, the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission recognized Philip's "Applied Technological Project" for environmental stewardship. The efforts of the team reduced 1.2 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions; with the decrease in emissions gas production increased. The "plunger" operation for artificial lift is the source of the emissions. Changing traditional operations was accomplished with functional success, communication, leadership, and training.

Philip's many years of experience improving gas measurement, system communications, training, and data reporting has accumulated into operational successes for customers. Philip, by applying new technology creates opportunities for customers to improve reliability, safety, efficiencies, and decision support data.

Philip will focus his effort utilizing the resources of the following Global Manufacturer's:

  • Yokogawa's ISA100.11a architecture minimizes wiring. The 100% digital instruments are very accurate, low power, and robust.
  • Rotork's electric actuators eliminate natural gas pneumatic controllers. These highly reliable actuators provide safe operations. The accuracy complements the final control elements.
  • GE/Masoneilan's severe service valves provide consistent "tight" shut off for safety. These trash tolerate valves assure years of reliable process control.

All of these components provide high reliability, extreme accuracy, and ease of use. Yokogawa's and Rotork's intuitive diagnostics optimize GE/Masoneilan control valves. These tools provide collaborative and autonomous optimization opportunities.

Philip earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Control Engineering from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
